Channels

Channel is a kind of label that can be given on ad units, link units, AdSense for search, and referrals. One ad unit can be assigned more than one label. Conversely, one label can be used for more than one ad unit. On this page Google AdSense reports, the reports are grouped based on the channel so that the use of the channel buffer is very easy to analyze their AdSense performance.
